Cracking up!

9/2/09:  The fun really began when Garrett and Brantley, co-owners of Cornerstone Concrete Development along with their crew of 8 men teamed up with Mike Walker, owner of Stonecrest Homes & Renovations for some serious demolition!

The old patio was removed and hauled away...

It was neat to see all the old concrete piled up and ready to be tossed.

Meanwhile, Mike and his helpers were propping up the deck with new 6x6 columns and removing the old stairs...

...framing was installed for the patio and footers were dug for the benches...

Mike also propped the cover over the front door and removed the old pillars in preparation for next week's demolition...  I knew we had at least ONE wasp nest up there, I never expected what they would find when the old pillars were removed!!

It was a crazy, busy and very productive day!!!  Everyone looked beat by the end!
